torn between career, family and a new friend...

Hey all, well, just another day here in beautiful Moab, Utah. The only thing that seems to be going rite for me these last few days, is that I spent a great day with my son yesterday. I am torn between my career as wildland firefighter, the woman I am currently dating, my children and a new lady that I have met through my son's soccer league.

April week 1

Busy all week with the usual paper and a few calls nothing serious. We did go out mutual aid on a wildland fire for a couple of hours seems the ranchers are doing some range management burns but don't want to stay and watch them, they don't like it when we put them out, no permits, unattended, how many violations is that now. DOE will have to take care of those, the local fire district is passing the information on to the DNR, haven't had anymore maybe they got the point. weather is looking up… Continue

New Part Time Job

I just started a new part-time job with Rising Sun/ Ohio Cty EMS as an EMT. If all goes well I hope to be hired full time soon. Finally it seems all my time as a volunteer is starting to pay off.

They're home!!

The only photo I have posted is one of missing children who were very dear to me.I'm happy to say they have found their way back home and were reunited with their mother last night.Their father kidnapped them several months ago and were found in Texas.I got to see them today and was very excited.They are everything I prayed they would be when returned.They are healthy and were unharmed.They have lots of questions and it will take a long time for them to be answered.A lot of adjustments are… Continue

3 NZ Firefighters Injured

Three firefighters are in a critical condition after explosions which engulfed a fire truck at a cheese coolstore at Tamahere, 9km southeast of Hamilton.

Eight firefighters were taken to Waikato Hospital after the explosions, at the Icepak Coolstores about 4pm on Saturday.

2 LODD's, Ohio

A veteran Colerain Township (Hamilton County, Ohio) Fire Captain and newly hired Firefighter were killed in the Line of Duty this morning when they reportedly fell through the first floor of a working house fire in Colerain Township.

Explosion Seriously Injs 9 Firefighters

I have decided to keep a rolling list of injuries due to "NOT" wearing a seatbelt. Maybe one day we'll Learn.

OK, so maybe we need a little more enlighting on this subject since it is still happening, people we need to use our heads here, and for godsake take two seconds to "CLICK IT"! Used equipment

Hi im Michael from the Philippines, im a volunteer here in our city. And unlike Volunteers in the US we are not connected with our local fire department.,meaning with the government. We are private own organization, organized by Chinese merchants since 1970's to help protect our city and giving assistance to our local fire department.
