Learn to Cope wih Sleep Deprivation & High Stress Levels

One week from tomorrow on Jan. 23rd at 6:30PM/1830 EST, is our webinar, "Thrive On Duty: Optimize Your Sleep & Stress!" This presentation is geared to help you with two major issues First Responders deal with, all over the world: Sleep Deprivation and High Stress Levels. Moreover, these issues are NOT a sign of weakness - they are natural occurrences in the three key areas of Fire, Law Enforcement and EMS.
Tickets are $20 and are available by using the link or the QR code below. You can also visit our website at https://www.5-AlarmTaskForceCorp.org.
Speaking will be two people who will share with you their personal struggles. Chief (ret) Arjuna George (Arjuna George) had a multi-decade career in the Fire Service. He achieved the rank of Chief at a relatively young age. However, what he thought would be his "big break," almost broke him! Fire calls were a dream, but reality included dealing with department and community politics, behavioral issues, sleep deprivation, stress and lack of resilience took a heavy toll, forcing his hand to retire early to focus on his own well-being and that of his family. Today, he is a published author, ("Burnt Around the Edges") and is a successful coach and trainer (Silver Arrow Coaching & Consulting).
Andi Clark had been in the health and wellness fields for almost thirty years. However, Andi's husband is a very busy police officer, often called in for special ops, stings, roll-over shifts, sleep deprivation, etc. Unfortunately, his frustration and difficulties were brought back home and affected the entire family. This was the impetus for Andi to go back into learning mode and she became a certified coach for sleep deprivation, stress and personal resilience.
Chief George and Andi are not unique in the field of First Responders. Tens of thousands of First Responders across the U.S., Canada and many other countries are all dealing with these issues. And if you look in the nearest mirror, you will see another Brother or Sister who often struggles with these issues. They are NOT a sign of weakness, they are obstacles that almost all of us face in this field!
Net proceeds benefit the 5-Alarm Task Force Corp. Foundation account. It is from this account that we disburse funds to our Brothers or Sisters, and/or their families, in dire need. Over 95% of the money we have sent since our inception in 2020, went to the families of Brothers who made the Ultimate Sacrifice. This is not a topic First
As always, we will have some great door prizes to give away at the end of the webinar. As long as you purchased a ticket, you do not have to be present when the names are drawn. If you are selected, you will be contacted by email. The prizes are:
1. A complete early detection physical exam through Life Scan Wellness Centers
2. A box of body wash, shampoo and more from Thin Red Line Decon for the name drawn PLUS....a carton of product for the winner's home station!
3. A signed copy of "The 5-Tool Firefighter" book and its accompanying workbook from author Nic Higgins of The Firehouse Tribune
4. A signed copy of Chief Arjuna George's book, "Burnt Around the Edges.

6. From Mark Slafkofsky and pryguyleverss, a brand-new mini version of the PryGuys' fulcrum-based hand tool that slips into the ring on your firefighting tool belt!
Learn simple, but very helpful ways to face these common issues affecting many, many First Responders today. And by doing so, you will be helping our Brothers and Sisters in dire need!
