We just ran a fire-out call a few shifts ago. When we got on scene, we found a burned out night stand smoldering on the front lawn. The father, a retired Navy vet , and donned a respirator and drug the burning mess outside. Props to the Navy, the world's largest fire department.

The new book, "Rescuing Providence" by Lt. Michael Morse of the Providence, RI Fire Department is now available at Borders Books & Music in Garden City (Cranston), RI. Please stop in and take a look at it. The book is awesome! I read it in four hours the other night.
GREAT gift idea for that special firefighter in your life! :-)
Be well & stay safe, all.

It's seen some weather on Main Street in Galeton, a "palace" in Tioga, a flower shop and restaurant in Blossburg, a Ben Franklin and insurance company in Mansfield, a personal care home in Morris Run, and more than a few barns…

trapped children, flames rolling above your head, your palms and
knees burning as you crawl, the floor sagging under your weight as the
kitchen below you burns.
I wish you could comprehend a wife's horror at 3 in the morning as…
