001. Back again...

... I used to have an account on here awhile back, but I deleted it because I didn't really have a use for it. I didn't make any friends (ha ha I'm a loser I know!), and I got too busy doing other things. But I am back, and trying to make a fresh start with the site. Who knows, maybe this time I will be more social on here, and actually find people to talk to.

National Registry Exam

So I've finally scheduled my exam. I have been fine when I think about taking it until this last weekend. I'm really nervous now! I usually test really well but I am having a hard time studying for this exam! I am just going to take the chapter pretests from my EMT book and hope that can help refresh my memory. A New Year and A New Attitude

Just a quick note that this being a new year and since I had started in class in the fall I had fallen off of my exercising, and as it would be I gained weight that I didn't want to. that being said my new attitude is that I will start up again with working out and losing weight, not only so I can do my job better, but so I don't have any health problems at a fire scene, I wanna be able to do all the work I am assigned without having to catch my breath. teen hits N.C. Firefighters at 10-50

Greensboro, N.C. — A 16-year-old driver plowed through the scene of an earlier traffic accident, injuring two Greensboro firefighters early Sunday.

Third House Fire

Three days into 2009 and three house fires have been recorded.

The latest blaze at Block 2E, Silver Hill, Christ Church, left a family of five searching for a place to spend the night after fire damaged their home yesterday.

Awesome New Year to Come!

This new year is going to be the BEST ever!!! I can feel it! It started out with a party (non-drinking) at my Chief's house, then saying good bye to my daughter :-( who was going back to Bend for college, then, today, we had a fire call and a medical call...usually they come in threes so I'm waiting patiently to see what other call we get today before midnight...
