So I've finally scheduled my exam. I have been fine when I think about taking it until this last weekend. I'm really nervous now! I usually test really well but I am having a hard time studying for this exam! I am just going to take the chapter pretests from my EMT book and hope that can help refresh my memory. I've been out of class since June and done with clinicals since September 30th. I think that more time spent in clinical enviroments would help refresh my memory and skills but I don't have that access. I guess I'm just going to cross my fingers and study hard. I read online that 38% of students fail thier NRE on the basic level the first time. *sigh*

I go on on January 17th early in the day. I'm going to have my hair and nails done the day before to try and help me relax! Hey, I'm still a woman you know. :)

I hope you do well, but if you need to retest, don't be one of those who "takes a while and studies some more". Jump right back on it and retest ASAP.

good luck. I just completed intermediate a few months ago, know how you feel. Remember abc's and you'll do fine.

Good Luck on the exam. Be confident and you will pass, the test is not that hard, I passed it. The hands - on portion was the hardest for me. Just study the book and study the individual tasks grade sheets and you will be fine. GOOD LUCK!
