He sees in a mere distance
the fire blazing from the house
not knowing if he can save them
hoping the kids are out
he pits his mask on
jumps out of the engine
him and his partners run inside
they crawl up the stairs
he feels the heat
it feels like hes being burned
his partner sees the child
she calls for him
hes not responding
they go into the toom
she takes her mask off
she puts it over the little boy
her partner just shakes his head
he takes the boy and they,
get to the stairs he walks
down them knowing shes right behind
then he gets outside
brings the boy to rescue
he looks for his partner
shes no where in sight
he rushes back in the house
theres a firefighter down he says
shes not moving
her mask is still not on
he picks her up and rushes her outside
he administers CPR
shes alive "is the little boy okay"
He tells her yes, another firefighter gone
