so the other day we had a structure fire we had a quick knock down and i got the roof vented right away everything seemed to be me over the going perfect then the words we all hate came over the radio CL, SM, and portable 4 pack back up shes smokeing up again we find that hot spot we went throught with the imager a few times and never found anything and we ended up pulling alot more celing than we should have any ideas on what we can do to avoid those bec ause by that point we have alot of guys in rehab so were running short on people

Hey, just joined the group, although I am a firefighter who takes pride in doing all jobs on the fire scene, I do have an affinity for the truck work as well and will do it when asked. We have a 95' Tower Ladder in my department. Dont get me wrong though, I try for the tip every time!! (Engine man at heart, truckie by duty! LOL)

Mick,

With a name like Engineco913 it's obvious that I have an affinity to engine company operations. As stated in an email, my department is corrupting me into Truck company operations. Here is a scene shot (chimney fire) they got as proof they are trying to make me a truckie.

Wow! Over the weekend we leapt to the 1000+ mark! I hope it's because you all are enjoying the stuff in this group, although I encourage you alll to jump in and make suggestions or check out some of the tactical threads (like posed by Chris Naum). Also, if you are familiar with any links you likethat can shae info, please share them with us.

As much as I considered throwing the link for my blog, Firehouse Zen, on the RSS feed, I thought it more appropriate to throw the honor over to a favorite site of mine, VentEnterSearch.com.
