It has been about 3 months since I have seen my family and freinds and about 6 months since I have ran on a call, and it is driving me nuts!!!! I had the honer of talking to some of the Camp Stryker Firefighters, and they love it here and think it is kinda fun. They are lucky thoug, they havent seen the side of war that I have, but I am geratfull that they are here. hard run

the other day i want on one of the hardest runs i have had sence i strated as a ff and emt and i have had a hard time dealing with it.the run i had was a suv that want off the rd and into the river on it roof i was one of the frist ones on and there was nothing i could do till the engine got there we got the suv out of the water as fast as we could. i can remember another ff sayin there was 2 car seats and my heart dropped. we ended up finding the pt a 35 yr old woman from a few towns over that… Continue

This was always my biggest nightmare

Another tragedy is hitting too close to home for Station 8 of the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department. Last year, one of its firefighters lost both legs in an accident. On Thursday, the daughter of the station's fire captain was killed in a crash the firefighters were sent to in northwest Harris County.

Flight 3407 1 year later

God Bless the victims, families, friends and loved ones. ONE YEAR LATER WE REMEMBER..... On Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009 at 10:20 p.m., Continental flight 3407, en route from Newark, N.J., spun from the sky and crashed into a home as it made its approach to Buffalo Niagara International Airport. All 49 people on board the plane were killed, as was one man in the house in Clarence Center. It was the worst aviation accident in Western New York history.
