Becoming an Officer of your company
I was just looking for opinons on new upcoming Officers. How many years experience do you think they should have and what type of experience. My department allows you to run for a LT position as long as you have been off probation for a year.

Kathy, Our department qualification for a Lieutenant is Firefighter 2 training and 10 years experience with the department.
