Hey all, I have to ask has anyone or anyones dept. tried the new Power 90 X DVD workout or the new ab coaster? I still do the old free weight and treadmill and bike routine but those 2 workouts look like a quicker more effective maintaince workout . thanks

if anyone is interested ive come across a new sort of training, well i havnt heard of it but tried it today and it blew me away. called CrossFit. there are a few sites on the net about it but it is basicaly crazy sets of circuits designed to kill you. the us navy seals use it and is very good for strenght, balance, core and endurance work.

Quick Jot...A Tactical Medic Course is being hosted in the City of Austell Fire Department, GA. For those of you who are interested, please contact us at adin@tangentedge.org. Course cost is $600 and the dates are July 14-18, 2008.
I am doing the P90X program and I am loving it. I started it because I have been getting pudgy around the middle and have lost a lot of flexibility. The Yoga X routine is smoking me. I can't breathe when I'm contorted.

If you have access to fitness equipment, the best program I have ever seen is called "body for life". Go buy the book and follow his program and you will drop weight and get in great physical shape

Hi Bogdana. I don't think you can afford to lose any weight. You look pretty petite in your pics.

Hello everyone. I am looking for a good workout that I can do on days off and days on. I am a FF/1st Responder and Dispatcher. So alot of my day is sitting on my be hind. I have already lost 50 pounds since last year, but am planning on taking FF1, this summer and want to be prepared. Any ideas would help. I already walk 2 miles a day, but need more.
Thanks!
