Today I toast the New Year, hopefully a new year with good things in store for all of us, I also toast my late friend. I don't morn but I celebrate the life that he lived and the fun times we had. So, if your toasting to good things, please toast to my good friend "Kevin", he'll love ya for it!

Just returned home from our first fire call of 2008. 14 years of firefighter experience, training and dedication...... Yeah you guessed it - a carbon monoxide alarm. As we approach 2008, let us be thankful for the important things in 2007. With good comes bad as we all know. Let us be thankful for our families that miss and worry for us every third day.
