What training other than the required drivers training hours do you think a volunteer fire fighter should have before being allowed to drive the big fire trucks?

With the cost's of just living now days, its its really tough finding time to be a volunteer, or being a Volunteer Deptartment, desperate for members. Lets hope things swing around and return to the good, soon!

Hey Vols. I was one for 22 years. Till I got injured on my fulltime job with the water & sewer department. I do miss the challenge's, the page out's, the Brotherhood, and the ability to make a difference. But now I'll be volunteering again, in our CERT program.

hey everybody im a volunteer firefighter in North Carolina been doing it for about 5 years now and just applied for a full time department hopefully i will get accepted into the academy
