I have been a volunteer fire fighter/EMT for fifteen years. Love the station I am at and I even get along with a majority of the career fire fighters. I say that since there are very few volunteers at my station, and at this moment I think I am the last "running" volunteer. My issue is that the volunteer corporation (name witheld so I won't embarrass them) has decided to sell my volunteer station. They say that I can come ride with them but most of them do not even know who I am.

Doesn't this just look like trouble?? I have worked my tail off for the last 3 years trying to start a new career and get back on my feet. Finally in June I took and passed (Woo Hoo) my Paramedic state exam. As a reward to myself for all my hard work, my sister and I took our 5 kids to DC for my birthday last weekend. We had a great time!! I think the kids were all ready to get home though. They didn't realize their mom's…Continue
