I have been a volunteer fire fighter/EMT for fifteen years. Love the station I am at and I even get along with a majority of the career fire fighters. I say that since there are very few volunteers at my station, and at this moment I think I am the last "running" volunteer. My issue is that the volunteer corporation (name witheld so I won't embarrass them) has decided to sell my volunteer station. Doesn't this just look like trouble?? I have worked my tail off for the last 3 years trying to start a new career and get back on my feet. Finally in June I took and passed (Woo Hoo) my Paramedic state exam. As a reward to myself for all my hard work, my sister and I took our 5 kids to DC for my birthday last weekend. We had a great time!! I think the kids were all ready to get home though. They didn't realize their mom's…

Special thanks to WebChief for stopping by, as well as our buds from 911Webs who sponsored a kick-ass party at the Baja Beach Club. Some of the boys are still recovering (mentally,…

However, I don't do it for the stereotypical image of pulling little Sally out of a burning building. But don't get me wrong, I would have her unfortunate ass out of that building faster than you could say I think my house is on fire.
