Staffing cuts and budget freezes are hitting fire departments across the country. From Scranton to Wilkes-Barre to budget cuts in California the penny pinchers are having an adverse effect on the safety of firefighters.
Don't worry though. As soon as someone needs a firefighter they are quick to praise. Just don't ask for anything because they develop amnesia.
