Right now I am a Captain on a 1978 American LaFrance 100' stick with a 250 gpm pump and a 200 gal booster tank. Normal frontline is a 2000 KME 95 ft platform with a 2000 gpm pump and 210 gal booster tank. KME is in reserve running a an engine as we currently don't have any spare engines on duty.

I am a Truck Officer and our apparatus is a 1988 LTI 75 ft straight stick with a prepiped waterway. 1500 GPM and 300 gallon booster tank. I have alot of respect for a good Eng Co, but Truck work is what I do and I try to do it well.

My first truck was a 1968 Hahn/Thibult 100' TDA and when I was hired with the DCFD I was assigned to T9, a 1980 Hahn/LTI 100 TDA, after 3 yrs I was promoted to Technician and then we got a 1995 Seagrave 100' TDA and then a 2003 Seagrave TDA. So I have been on a Truck since I started when I was 17 yrs old!! TRUCK MAN FOR LIFE!!
