Good morning! How are we faithing? It never ceases to amaze how good God is. He didn't promise a life of leisure or wealth but a full life of love and of his grace. I run into alot of people who are destitute in spirit and physically. You know, it doesn't even matter whether it's there fault or not. We as believers in Christ should have the compassion to step up whenever we can. We should pray without ceasing and by that I don't mean long wordy prayers but appeals on the spot. Our God loves us all but we need to present the salvation grace to all. It is hard sometimes to take a step back, look at the heart and recognise the spirit need. By recognising the physical needs and acting accordingly we show our convinced nature of Jesus and his principles. We should do because of Jesus and the compassion he has. We also should use wisdom. The guy in the gutter that you wont give to because "he will buy booze" is wrong. Take a meal to him or take him to get a meal. Wisdom. That family that has no winter coats for the kids need the coats now, then present the wisdom of the gospel. We have got to meet the needs of the people or the grace message will be missed. The Word tells us this.

1 Corinthians 13:3-7
And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor , and if I deliver my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
NAS

Galatians 5:6
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.
NAS

Colossians 3:12-13
And so, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.
NAS

1 John 4:11
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
NAS

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your blessings and thank you for your love. Lord teach us to be wise and humble. Help us recognise spiritual needs that are hindering the physical as well as the spiritual. Help us see beyond the immediate and help us be the sower for the harvest in lives Lord we lift those up who are hurting and cold. We lift those who's hearts ache for loved ones. Lord we praise and honor you, in Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing this fine day? It's another Monday and we now have the opportunity to go out amongst the masses and be examples for Christ. We are the light of the world reflecting Jesus and his glory. Without our influence the world would sink into despair. Mankind by itself seeks it's own will and we can see how that can turn out just by watching the news. How others see us deal with situations shows our faith and new life in Jesus the Christ. Whether good or bad we are seen by the world so it makes sense that we seek the wisdom of God in his Word, pray without ceasing and hold on to the knowledge that we have entered eternity when we accepted Jesus as Lord. We are now in the beginning of forever. This short century that we occupy this vessel of flesh is but a vapor compared to forever. Ever thought about that? Our woes here for this small time are nothing compared to a googleplex of time. Still can be hard here but looking beyond the immediate becomes a little more doable when we start to grasp that concept.

2 Corinthians 5:1-10
For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven; inasmuch as we, having put it on, shall not be found naked. For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed, but to be clothed, in order that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge. Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord-- for we walk by faith, not by sight-- we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. Therefore also we have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
NAS

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that encourages us every day. Thank you for concepts and principles that make our life livable. Lord we ask for wisdom and courage to be examples of your love. We ask for clarity when we encounter the enemy. Lord we praise you and worship you as the Lord of all that you are. Keep us safe physically as well as spiritually and mentally. Be with Linda on her trip. Keep her safe. Encourage Ben...in Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? It is a tough road this life we lead. There are things that wash us over sometimes and we feel complete despair. There are times when we want to give up. There are times when we feel so alone and even sometimes are. There are times when death is appealing. These are scary times and it has been brought to my attention this type of despair is all around. The enemy speaks in the ear of the depressed and down trodden. The enemy uses us for evil when we are the most vulnerable. The enemy is just plain evil and despicable. They kick us when we are down and laugh about it. How rude. How evil. How selfish. Are you in a hole and can't seem to climb out? Digging deeper isn't the right choice. I want to encourage those who are sitting in that hole feeling like the dirt is falling in on you. I want you to know that Jesus cares. I care. It doesn't matter what you've done or what has been don to you, Jesus is right there waiting for you to run into his arms. You have to stand up and take his hand he is offering. Your road may continue to be hard for awhile but believe me when I tell you that even in your bleakest, Jesus will hold and keep you. It may even suck bog water for awhile but you will come through and you will have a witness for the people who will fall in that hole. You will come out the other side. Do not let the enemy convince you otherwise because if he does, he wins and you lose. He isn't worth you.

2 Peter 2:16-19

These are springs without water, and mists driven by a storm, for whom the black darkness has been reserved. For speaking out arrogant words of vanity they entice by fleshly desires, by sensuality, those who barely escape from the ones who live in error, promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by what a man is overcome, by this he is enslaved.
NAS

John 8:12-13
Again therefore Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life."
NAS

Psalms 121
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From whence shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is your keeper;
The LORD is your shade on your right hand.
The sun will not smite you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The LORD will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in
From this time forth and forever.
NAS

Heavenly Father,
We ask for revelation of your love for us and for those who feel alone. Lord we ask for sanity and clear thinking for those who have lost their way and are dealing with loss. Lord, make your presence known. We ask for wisdom to be the servants we should be to show your love in our moments of despair.. Thank you for you confidence, in Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? Lots of people are struggling with all sorts of things as of late. Loneliness, worry, unsettled about jobs, church, relationships. We all walk through times when we want to run or just can't seem to focus or figure things out. We know logically what to do sometimes but our emotions or longings get in the way. Many a choice is made out of desperation that end up biting us on the behind. Our strength is not our own. Sure certain types of personalities are strong willed and or steadfast regardless of what flies at them but even those types need to focus on God. We must focus on God and leave the fallout to him. If we approach biblical principles with apprehension to the point of watering it down, we miss it. Our strength has to be in our salvation otherwise we will continue to make the same mistake over and over. Don't think so? Think about things you've done that were disasters. What principle did you use to make the choice? It felt right? It was what you wanted? Recognise truth man! Not to beat yourself but to improve. Had someone tell me that they "ain't done anything that bad", so he should be OK with God. Man, he missed what salvation and grace is. He is floundering through on his own accord. If we focus on God's principles, all that behavior and choices we make will fall in line. Get in the Word, meditate on it. Follow the principles and let what ever happens happen.

Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is inscrutable.
He gives strength to the weary,
And to him who lacks might He increases power.
Though youths grow weary and tired,
And vigorous young men stumble badly,
Yet those who wait for the LORD
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.
NAS

Psalms 27:14
Wait for the LORD;
Be strong, and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for the LORD.
NAS

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
NAS

Great morning! How are we faithing? Who are we? What are we to do? Look at this closely;

1 Peter 1:3-12
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls. As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful search and inquiry, seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven-- things into which angels long to look.
NAS

Interesting. That last line got to me. Angels long to look. We were created as beings to worship and commune with God. We were made to sit with him. The angels don't even have that privilege. We need, as a body, to recognise just how important our state is to God. He gave us the choice to be near him as designed ....or not. Contemplate that today. Recognise the subtle nuances God has put and allowed in your life. Ask him straight up what, where, how he has planned your existence. You do have a purpose. You do have value. You are loved. Never ever forget that...

Remember Carol as she gets cut on today...

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the cross. Thank you for choice. Thank you for wisdom and revelation. Thank you for your Word. Lord we lift the lost to you. We lift those in any pain today. We ask your blessing on the vote today. Lord, we thank you continuously for all things and it is in your holy name we pray, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? Healing takes place whether it is disease or spirits harassing us. The Word speaks of disease as a result of sin in the world and or of demonic activity. It is very interesting to see how Jesus healed. Sometimes he forgave sins thus people were healed and sometimes he cast out demons and the people were healed. This being said it stands to reason not all sickness is demonic in nature and not all disease is a natural occurrence. Now with that knowledge we can approach our study in the Word to see where we personally drop the ball or entice the forces of the air to enter. This is a huge study and I do encourage you to dive into the Word on your own and discover the healing powers we have because of our savior. Whether we are being allowed to endure for reasons unbeknown to us right now or we just got sick because of germs, we can move on and not think there is a demon behind every wall or that we will get every little bug that comes our way. Whatever is effecting you can be addressed by seeking out the Lord for healing. Look at these as a start to your search of God's Word on this subject.

Psalms 103:2-5

Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits;
Who pardons all your iniquities;
Who heals all your diseases;
Who redeems your life from the pit;
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
NAS

Matthew 15:29-31
And departing from there, Jesus went along by the Sea of Galilee, and having gone up to the mountain, He was sitting there. And great multitudes came to Him, bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, dumb, and many others, and they laid them down at His feet; and He healed them, so that the multitude marveled as they saw the dumb speaking, the crippled restored, and the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.
NAS

Job 4:8
"According to what I have seen, those who plow iniquity
And those who sow trouble harvest it.
NAS

Proverbs 3:25-26
Do not be afraid of sudden fear,
Nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes;
For the LORD will be your confidence,
And will keep your foot from being caught.
NAS

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for all your blessings on us. Lord, help us understand how and why sickness is what it is. Help us to not be discouraged when we endure pain and those down times when we feel rotten. Lord we know you are our healer and comforter and we desire to learn and then rest on your Word. Lord grant us understanding and wisdom. We lift those mentioned to you and those who have unspoken needs. Thank you for your love and lessons taught daily, in Jesus name, amen

Hey guys I have a prayer request. I lost my sister Janet in May, and her husband, Larry, has just been diagnosed with a fast growing form of pancreatic cancer. Please pray for him - we know that God is able. Please pray for our family too, we are all very close and this is tough to swallow so soon after losing Janet. I appreciate your prayers.
