We used old DOF 2 1/2 tons with 500 gal and 350gpm pump, built by us. Worked so well for so long the Dept. had to switch it up. Now we have 5 ton monsters built by the prison system, costing 100,000 (thats not a typo), and our newest blew a motor due to revered pistons. Go figure.

Hydetown Brush 4. This truck was built by members of our dept. It works great for us, and gets plenty of use. We also use it for our utilility truck. 300 gal. booster tank 350 gpm. pump, 400ft. preconnected 1in. forestry line on 2 crosslays, plus a 150ft. booster line. We also carry a 350 gpm. floating pump, 6 indian tanks, rakes brush hooks, chain saws, brush brooms, and a Garmin GPS unit. 99 Chevy 1ton 4x4, 5 speed standard trans., 454 C.I.D. Nice truck.. Very handy!

just purchased a General Fire equipment "General" . Actually bought their demo . 490 gpm pump and 500 gal of water--sweet, needed a little fine tuning to meet our needs.

retired our 1954 6x6 Reo, now we can still go nearly anywhere but at more than 30 mph

well I guess I will be the first. We have a 1965 6x6 or deuce and half to anyone military out there. It was a military fire unit until it came to us by state auction and now serves us well as a go anywhere brush truck. we also have a surplus military 5/4 ton chevy that has a 250 gallon tank in it. And we rigged foam up for quick stops on small fire and putting out hot spots. As soon as I get some pictures I will post them, right now they are on my computer at home. But I will post asap.
