It just so happens our Captain is having sex with a Probationary FF, she is now a rookie, past the Practical and Final exams. I believe the Officers should be held to a higher standard. Thoughts?

I was a junior member (17 yrs old) and a regular member would not stop asking me out or following me around like a puppy dog. I eventually went and spoke with our Chief after trying to handle it on my own. Most times I am just as bad as the guys...I grew up with both parents being truck drivers so I can handle myself and if the guys go to far I tell them and they stop....it all comes down to respect. I have proven I am here to do a job not be a slut as some females I have known to be on the departments I have been on.

I have been with the fire dept for 10 years now and have some very close bonds with "my boys", they tease me continuously but they do know there us a line, and none of the guys have ever crossed it. I think it depends on what type of person you are and why you as a woman have joined the service. I detest woman like her as her type makes the hardworking, dedicated ladies look like tramps. she and her superior should be brought up on charges and fired, we dont need trash in such a noble profession!!!
