The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Good morning Chief; fresh pot brewing, dougnuts on the way. Tomorrow will be Hell Day (aka St. Patrick's Day) around here. Actually, reading posts, guess today may be YOUR Hell Day since someone did not know you were playing hooky!

Good morning crew!

Ryan, welcome to the insanity!

Kevin, get with Gaffney; he has the heavy stuff too; and it is a little more local!

Tom, Homeland Security already knew ...

Morning Eric!

Dee, I am ready for some fun! Let me know if you want back-up!! LOL!!

Nashville going to be sunny and about 70 degrees; 80 degrees by Friday.

Everyone have a great day - stay safe out there!!

Ok crew time to go to DEFCON 2, Chief "forgot" to tell wifey he was playing hookey today. Put all defenses on HIGH ALERT! Notify Homeland Security of a possible mass casuality event...LOL

We'll see how it goes. My instructor has a high National Registry pass rate, so I feel comfortable that we'll be prepared.

I'm signing off. Got to get up early for the commute to class.

Oh, ouch...Hopefully your instructors will help you prepare accordingly as it will be new to them as well.

What got me was they changed from 4th Ed to 5th Ed when I went from FFI to FFII. Some of the material changed. And now, as I understand it, I'll learn ACLS 2005 standards because National Registry will test that, but it's possible that they'll adopt the 2010 standard by the time I test.
Don't worry, be happy.

I hear you on that. I had myself thinking the same way for the two written tests towards my FF Cert. over the last few months. Once I opened the tests, everything seemed so much easier...lol.
