That should have said "don't" get caught from not seeing the big picture. I need to edit my posts better. Thanks again for the support and stay safe.

hi ya sunshine ! hope you are well. figures that one of the few times I got to come on here, no one is around. LOL. miss starting trouble with ya, maybe I'll try and get on here tonight, see what is going on...... be safe...
LMAO, you need to go back and read the last entries. Tom and I were sitting here laughing at the whole comment about the batteries, talk about mind in gutter... LMAO....Tom said you are WRONG, you have to go through all those batteries....
the calendar thing, its just something neat to do. you'll always remember your first fire, but its kinda cool, looking back, even after a year, and see how much you've seen, or what you've accomplished in that year. LOL. and yeah, if I can find the copy of the picture of me standing on the table, I'll have to post it on here, it sure was funny. in fact, its comical in my photos, there's a few of our department, in fact, it was the dedication after the first year for 9/11, and there I am, only coming to some of the guys shoulders, and a few, even shorter, but I never left that stop me. LOL. there were even a few occasions, that I got picked to go into some smaller spaces, because of my size, which led me to get my cert for Confined Space. LOL
LOL, you saying about doing overhaul. I gotta share a funny story with you, first really good commercial fire I was on, was a McDonalds. started in the duct work from the heater. ok, all out we go in for overhaul, well, they started busting my chops about not being able to reach high enough to take out a few walls to check for extension, and tormenting me about not being able to pull the ceiling, even with the pike pole. so I fixed them ,I stood on the table. ( Im only 5 ft 1) LMAO. that picture hung in the station for years.
mark your night on the calendar, then in one year, look back on this night, and also on all the other experiences you had during that year, you'll be like, "WOW". lots of other neat things to come. I can honestly say. I can still remember my first fire, only a car fire, but then again, it was a rocker ! and I thought the same thing when they told me to pack up and get 2nd on the line, I did the same exact thing really? me? woot ! LOL. of course, it was doubly exciting for me, being a girl, LOL, I thought wow, y'all really gonna trust me and let me try and do something? I still get a little bit of the adrenaline rush, but nothing like back then, kinda miss it in a way. but GOOD FOR YOU
