Just got home after starting out this morning with a medical call 6am, then half hour later a structure fire an then finally two more medicals. Busy morning an day.

Justin, I think he will get over it. If you had a second incoming unit, which would arrive before the unit that was cancelled, it should be clear and understood. I find this type of issue occurs more in small depts. On the other hand, since the incident was not of a real serious nature, what harm would it have done to allow the other agencies' unit to continue on, and cancel your other unit? My thought process here is simply keeping the morale and working relationship between the two agencies in good standing. Just a thought. stay safe bro!

managed to piss of a chief from a dept next to us today. had a vehicle fire in a dual response area. i was first officer on scene and established command. had 1 engine from my dept on location crew of 3 with another enroute, eta 1 min crew of 4. other chief got all pissed because i canelled his engine with a driver only, eta 4 mins. i mean its not like it was a damn structure. some people just got to have something to bitch about

Thanks for the invite Mike. We just had a garage fire at 330 am fully involved. No one injuried , a minor appratus failure (its old) Thanks for the coffee royal
