The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Is it safe to have officers from a prior fire dept and current officers from your new dept together on the same site?

Tonight, I am heading to the pub for trivia night ... the kind where they take no prisoners, show no mercy, and make me feel like a total idiot! But hey, I can drink my Bass and enjoy a good laugh with my team mates!! Everyone should come join us (if not on duty!!).

Well, had my Rockstar (Chief Mike-this is my tall cold one-LOL) first thing this morning....boing-boing-boing...almost ran my Fire Chief off the road today. I could hear his pipes from a mile but did not really see him until he was waving his finger at me...hhhhhhmmm. It's a good wave, though. LOL.

Thanks for the coffee chief ... can you see if Ralph will wake up long enough to mainline it for me? Hope your mom is better! It is often easier to be at work where you can focus on something other than worries!

Sending out "howdys" to everyone!! Ralph, Rossi, Haf ...

Happy Morning Chief and everyone.
Thanks for the coffee, Chief.

I'm off to work. Have a great day.

Sending homecooked meals Chief. When you're in my house, everything is homecooked. Well, most everything.
Glad mom's doing great, Chief. We're with yah all the way.
Now we're just going to find Cap.

FW, prayers are with you as well and to those impacted by the tornado.
Stay safe everyone.

I'm home making some herbed crock pot chicken and some brown rice.
A little wine and some relaxin music to end the weekend and start a new challenge for my work week.

Evening folks! Mike, great news about your mom!! We are all sending lots of prayers and cheering you all along in this battle!!

Ralph ... you are such a friggin' lazy bones!! :D

Hey Rossi!! Sounds great ... can you send it via Pony Express??

Things improved drastically here ... good bit of clean up, but our area really dodged the massive bullet that took out neighbors to the south and north! My brother (Des Peres, MO), missed being a victim of a tornado by one block. Way too close!! Fortunately, no injuries but lots of damage. Folks in Mississippi not so lucky! Prayers going out to all - victims, families, and responders! Stay strong! Stay safe!!

Okay - back out to the field! Later gang!!

Chief Mike still have some leftover Prime Rib, medium rare.
We cooked it rare yesteday so it's perfect for leftover today.
Some beer too.
