hey yall... from a small voly dept. in mid west ohio. the town itself is less the 2000. for bein as small of a town as we are in we are contracted with several twps so we have a fairly large area and are decently busy. we average around 170-180 calls a year.

My hometown -- Brookville, PA, population 4,500 -- is planning a 3-day celebration to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its volunteer fire department. It will be held September 17-18-19 of 2009, and we want to make it something really special, despite a limited budget. We're trying to get as many congratulatory cards and letters for the department as we can. If anyone would like to send one, here's the address: Brookville Volunteer Fire Company, 240 Madison Avenue, Brookville, PA 15825, ATTN: Century Committee.

Hi everyone, I'm with a small rural volunteer department near Spencer, Tn. A very small town that does not even have a red light.
