my name is Travis Skinner im a firefighter/EMR at Hurst Illinois fire rescue dept. I've been on there 2 years. my favorite type of fire is probably a brush fire it puts up a challenge for me, to get it under control before it gets out of control.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

i joined my dept because i wanted to help my commnity and fire and medical feilds interest me and my grandpa was a chicago fireman for 39 years and he also inspired me to do this.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

its the joy and relief in peoples eyes when you save them or their possessions.
