Welcome James and Nanny, I hope you find it an interesting and amiable group, although i admit I can be a BIT brutal on the Irish.

Sorry, Sarah, I'm a SCOT! I was so excited that I typed too many t's! Russ, I am the career chief of a volunteer fire department in Denison, IA. We're located in Western Iowa about 30 miles north of I-80. Which base were you with?

Stephen, sounds like a good time... Mike.. are you a Scot or a Scott? Just wondered because I am both.. (Last name was Scott, and am a Scot.) Judging by the fact that you seem to be a male, I am assuming you are a Scot and not a Scott... the same goes for Chief Sharp down there...

Welcome aboard, where in Iowa? I was there a few years back supporting a field artillery unit for a few weeks.

Good evening. My name is Mike, I'm excited to catch up with this group. I'm a Scott by blood and heart but live in Iowa!

Sarah, It starts July 9-12, Most of the festivaties start on the 11th and 12th. Friday and Saturday nights there is a concert both nights free with the purchase on that days ticket, well worth the money. Our Clan is planning a dinner on the mountain on saturday night before the concert, if you think you may come your welcome to stop in and eat.
