Christian; I'm sure you've found the answer to your question, but I'll post something just in case. I was with a department for a little over two years in Union County, NC; back in 1999 - 2001. I had a red/clear strobe mounted over my rear-view mirror and one red flashing light on each side of my high center mount brake light (Crown Vic). There were never any issues and I was told that lights were ok, as long as they were red or red and clear to the front and red or red and amber to the rear; no blue lights anywhere on a POV unless you're a LEO. Also, no sirens in a POV. I know in SC, guys are allowed to use both, as are we here in NM with the county sheriffs permission.

I currently run a fullsized Code 3 MX7000 Excalibur bar with 4 high speed rotators , a center oscilaser . 2 TIR 3's in the Grill , 2 75 watt Whelen Strobes in my rear window plus a 6 head OKTAG LED Stick in the front window , i am ordering 2 more LED Sticks for my rear windows to replace my strobes plus the LED Sticks can be used for an arrow stick due to the 8 pattern flasher included
