Being in a "private" service ( I work at a coal mine) we discuss each and everyday, the importance of "Everyone Home, Everyday" In the 20 years of operation, EVERYONE has gone home EVERYDAY... and we are proud of that.

The whole premise of Everyone Goes Home is to reduce injuries and fatalities through the 16 initiatives. I would like to say that the International Association of Fire Chief's Fire/EMS Safety Week 2009 goes hand in hand in the work that is being done with the initiatives. I invite you all to come check out our new group IAFC-Safety Health & Survival to learn about the theme for this year's Safety Week. I already have topic one up and ready to be discussed!

Hey everybody, I'm sure you have heard by now, but we have had another LODD. This time a Chief from OK, Nolan Schmidt. Say a prayer for his family and keep them in your thoughts tonight.

hello brothers and sisters. It is critical that we think of our own and everyone elses saftey out there. If there ever comes a point and time that we lose one of our own, then we have all failed.

Everyone needs to read the Firefighter Fatality Reduction Act of 2009 and also contact your clown in the DC circus to support this effort it beats giving money to banks in order for them to give bonuses to the big wheels. Lets here it for my 3% raise this year.

I lost my partner in 2007 in a LODD. This is something that i wish know one else would ever have to deal with and ever have to live with. Watch each others back and think before you act.

No Prob, Bryan, I was just saying guessing, because these news sites can be a pain this way, Not knowing for sure exactly "What" we were looking for wasn't so bad, But redirection/getting lost is always an issue
however, we found it eventually. :)
