   Good morning! How are we faithing? When we have errant thoughts come around we are prone to fondling. We fondle them because of curiosity, intrigue maybe but most times it's out of selfishness and the enemy knows it. Our own lusts and wants, if left to just run,  will develop into sin. We as believers need to learn to recognize those thoughts that can lead astray even the elect and take em captive and rebuke em. I'm as guilty as anyone of snatching a thought as it goes by and fondling it a little but I'm gettin better. By getting input from the Word every day we start to recognize thoughts and play with them less because we start to see the danger. I still day dream about cruisin in a muscle car or playing in the old band but they are short breaks from reality usually triggered by stimulus of some sort. Staying in that day dream is where one could get off the path really far and anyone who has day dreamed knows exactly what I am saying. Our battle isn't really the tangible stuff we face every day, unless we let it, but more with our thinking. "This should be different", "that shouldn't be that way" or the worst, "I wish".  Deal with what is in front of you. Pray quick. Rebuke what is unhealthy or serves no good purpose and always be mindful of the enemies traps because;

Eph 6:12
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

and remember;

1Pe 5:8
Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,

and remember  this too;

Job 1:7
And Jehovah said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered Jehovah, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

Remember Christy Fulfer...Steve Thompson...Geraldine...

Heavenly Father,
We come before you today lifting holy hands and praising you. Thank you for always being here for us. Lord we lift those mentioned. Heal wounds. Heal sicknesses and make it known you showed up! Lord we ask for wisdom to recognize the wiles of the enemy. Let us see quickly our folly and be courageous in this world to stand for your truth. In Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? We hear people say things like,"God put this evil before me to see if I'll be tempted".  What? How does that make any sense at all? A God who loves us is gonna put something before us to see if we'll fail? Well then lets segue right into God must be out there waiting for us to goof up so he can punish us...where did this come from? The pit of hell and it has a sulfur hint to it...We are tempted of our own lusts. Admit it. Don't feel like whale poop because of it, just recognize it for what it is. I know what tempts or draws my eye and you know what draws yours. Things do go on in this world that can tax our will and demeanor as well as our resolve but don't think God is tossing a bone to see if we'll step of the edge of the cliff, he is where he always is, right beside you. Carrying you when necessary too. As we face things in our day it is very important to remind ourselves that God and his love for us has not changed. His love is complete. His love is everlasting. As soon as you recognize temptation,  repent accordingly as necessary and pray to our Father in Heaven who is right there to pick you up.

Jas 1:13-14
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempteth no man:
but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.

Remember Youcef Nadarkhani...remember the kids in our schools...

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for always abiding with us. Lord, forgive us when we allow temptation to take over. We know we will be tempted by things so we ask for strength and courage to do what is correct in those times. Lord we lift Youcef and his family to you...protect them...Lord our schools need your help. Touch those kids and the teachers to seek you in everything. Lord we ask blessings for the families that are struggling. Help us show you in all we do, in Jesus name, amen

Good morning!  How are we faithing? Our perspective on things has a huge bearing on what we deem as necessary.  I have been guilty of visualizing what life should be like forgetting that my upbringing, culture and financial status has direct influence on perspective. We as Christians must take these things into accountwhen we study the Word. Our goal ought not be to bring the huddled masses unto "our" place in society. Doing it all like our view does not mean it is right or even biblical. It's time to stop trying to seek out a savior that will give us all our wishes because our wishes are suspect. Our savior was and is in the trenches helping the sick and getting them to our stature isn't even in the equation. Do we help them come up? Of course but that is a result of compassion and not the goal. Our goal is to show them Jesus and what he has done for us. Us feeding hungry people or clothing cold people is what we do as a result of the love we now enjoy. Those things are what lead people to ask why we would do such things. My savior is a loving savior who doesn't give a hoot about socioeconomic status, political connections. The freedom of this country allows for social status to be climbed... or not... Like your church, like your status, like your society but never let it direct what the Word tells us because once you start that, you just opened up a huge door for a twist of scripture rationalization to fit you and your status.

Mat 6:24
No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Mat 4:10
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

 Jos 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve Jehovah, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah.

remember Rachal and Tim Doughty...remember me as I get over thisflu...

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your love and grace to save one such as me. You know all about me yet loved me enough to save me from myself. Lord I ask for wisdom to impart your love and your Word to the people I meet. In the name of Jesus we rebuke the dark forces that want to hinder the showing of your light. Teach us to act courageously. Show us what you see when we meet others. Lord guide our paths, speak to us constantly in Jesus name we pray, amen

Great morning! How are we faithing? Another rainy headachey day in this so called winter. Man, I don't know which is better, rain or a foot of snow! Snow is fun, rain goes away quicker...oh well...I am seeing anti semitism getting more pronounced and more prevalent these days. What the? Why do people blame "the Jew"? This really smells of bigotry and a repeat of history. To me this is no different than the view of slavery in our country's past and many other nations over time. The Word speaks of this exact thing coming about in the last days. The Word speaks of the demise of Damascus in the last days and if you are watching the events and the rhetoric going on these days one can see prophecy unfolding. Today's daily is more of a call out to it's readers to take the time to research the scripture to arm yourself with the truth because there will be a full scale attack and a twist of what really is transpiring. We may see things we never dreamed mankind would repeat after the events of the last century. It is time to get off our collective keesters and act on what our faith is all about. It pains me to think people may perish never hearing about Christ or seeing a wrong view of Christians. It's time to put our faith to work people. Sitting on our laurels and being selfish with this faith is not what Jesus told us to do....
Joel 3:1-2
ezex 20:33-42
Isaiah 8:4/17:1-2
Jer 49:23-29

remember Greg McDougals son...remember Chuck Wood...

Heavenly Father,
Open our eyes to the needs around us. Provoke a desire in us to share your love. Lord we ask for wisdom in all we do. Forgive us when we doubt and hesitate and help our courage. Lord don't let "us" get in the way. We lift those mentioned to you . Heal the sick. Restore us Lord so we can be a reflection of your love. In Jesus name, amen

Good morning!  How are we faithing? It is amazing how God will guide us and help us every day.  The Holy Spirit will guide you through anything the day tosses up at you.  The scripture that tells us that he will guide us with words for the situation  is true. Sometimes for me anyways, I have nothing to say but am filled with compassion and just listen or give a hug and sometimes scripture floods my mind. I have learned to listen to that and shut up when necessary, admonish when necessary and speak the plain truth when necessary.  The cool thing I have learned is it aint about me, it's  about them.  My opinion is unnecessary and not needed or even wanted most times. With that compassion I must seek truth and recognize where that person in front of me is. Physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally. To witness the light bulb turn on in their head when the realization  of a caring loving savior comes is so fantastic and the praises to God fly! I know what my savior has done for me and I want everyone to have the same! Good times and bad, rough spots and smooth, sad and happy, my savior is consistently beside me guiding and supporting me. He will do the same for you so dump your baggage at his feet and get on with it....

Psa 28:7
Jehovah is my strength and my shield; My heart hath trusted in him, and I am helped: Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; And with my song will I praise him.

Psa 105:4
Seek ye Jehovah and his strength; Seek his face evermore.

1Th 5:14
And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be longsuffering toward all.

Remember Grace...remember Lannie...remember the Harrod family...

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the strength that you provide. We ask for wisdom to act , speak as you desire. We do not wish to cause distress in anyones life but show you to them. Lord, we lift those seeking today. Guide them, open their eyes. Lord we praise your name this day and bless by choice and not by obligation, in Jesus name, amen

Good morning!  How are we faithing?  Do you concentrate on being good or concentrate on Jesus? Do you pick apart  sins in others? Do you find fault in just about everything? Well stop it!  Who put you in charge of policing the sinners? Who made you sheriff over others' deeds? You pay attention to your walk with Jesus and let Jesus lead them. By paying more attention to deeds you set yourself up for failure. Gee whiz, have you read the old testament? Have you forgotten where you came from? By concentrating on Jesus the result is we end up acting more Godly and not the other way around.

Joh 21:22
Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? Follow thou me.

Do you see that? Do you get what Jesus was saying? What they do doesn't count or matter one iota to you.  You have enough to do just walking your walk. As we meet people that are doing incorrectly we need to show love and show Jesus without pressing the issue of their unworthiness or failings because we all have fallen short of the glory of God. Look, if all you see is sin in others, you need to step away and talk to the master because your issues are larger than what you are pointing out. You need to ask for help because it is not healthy to find fault with everything; that will eat you alive.
Mat 7:1-2
Judge not, that ye be not judged.
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you.
Jas 4:11-12
Speak not one against another, brethren. He that speaketh against a brother, or judgeth his brother, speaketh against the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judgest the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
One only is the lawgiver and judge, even he who is able to save and to destroy: but who art thou that judgest thy neighbor?
Remember Anna...Barbara Dean,,,Sherry Oerther...Draven and Kelsey and Liz...remember the Brown and Harrod families...
Heavenly Father,
Forgive our judgement. Lord we ask for vision from you so we can see into the hearts of others. We ask for wisdom, courage and a steadfast assurance we are yours. Lord, help our unforgiveness. We do lift our Pastors up to you and all the grief they deal with. Hold them up and open their ears to you voice so they may help and not harm. Thank you for your grace for even the likes of me. I am so happy you saved me! In Jesus name, amen..

Good morning! How are we faithing?  What is this love you have for your spouse? How do you view your other half? Today's daily is for the married folks out there. You are one in the eyes of God and yet also individuals when it comes to the relationship in Jesus. Together we got married. Together we praise God. Together we face the challenges this life brings us. Our love for each other has to be like Jesus' love for us. Above reproach, not dependent on what we do or don't do for each other but both of the partners concerned for each other more than they are for themselves. We must forgive. We must get after each other with love. We must trust. We must not get defensive. We must seek to please each other. There are a ton of conversations we could have about each of those things but the basic premise is to love the other as much as you love yourself. Realistically you can't love them more than yourself or that would become idol worship. Don't think so? Every time I've seen some one who adores the other more than ones self, one does everything and the other treads on the first. That is not balanced at all. True love is regarding the other more than ones self but the love is like this; "what would I want done". The Word tells us to love one another. It tells us to love like Christ loves the church. It tells us to respect each other. If you think about these things, how we should treat each other becomes self evident. Just give this some thought today...maybe open some dialog?

Php 2:1-4
If there is therefore any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassions,  make full my joy, that ye be of the same mind, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;  doing nothing through faction or through vainglory, but in lowliness of mind each counting other better than himself;   not looking each of you to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.

Remember Jennifer Binger...remember Shannon...

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your Word that helps us find truth. Help all of us in our marriages and help us understand how we should be. Show us your love and peace so we can do the same. Help us understand your will for our lives. Teach us to be humble and loving to all we meet. Let others see you in us. Bless those struggling today. Touch them with wisdom and forgiveness in Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? Every day we fight against the things that displease us. Whether they are justified or just plain whining. We get haughty and think we know more than anybody else and that we have it all figured out.  Some things we do, most we don't. When our ego becomes defensive, we tend to dismiss things on the basis or our own view.  Recognizing that our view is skewed  takes courage and wisdom. We're not talking about matters of opinion but facts. When we discover we have been mistaken about something it is best to repent and not feel stupid. Heck man, I find out thing all the time that I was convinced of that were just not the case. I also find out things that are proven true and try to treat it as confirmation and not brag that I knew that. These verses below are very good advise to keep our ego in check...

Jas 4:1-8
Whence come wars and whence come fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your pleasures that war in your members?
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and covet, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war; ye have not, because ye ask not.
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may spend it in your pleasures.
Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.
Or think ye that the scripture speaketh in vain? Doth the spirit which he made to dwell in us long unto envying?
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore the scripture saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.
Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye doubleminded.

Remember Hallie Tracy family....remember Brian...

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the cross. Lead me to your ways and grace. We lay our burdens at your feet. Bless those families that are hurting today, remind them of your love for them. Teach us to be humble in our ego and thank praise without being puffed up. Lord, give us a vision and an interpretation. Show us your path for us, in Jesus name, amen
