Good morning! How are we faithing? It gets hard sometimes to obey and one of the principles of God is obeying his Word. Thanks be to God that we are not judged by the failure of that principle because I am afraid we'd all be doomed. Those who accepted the gift of pardon can continue on seeking Gods face and his ways knowing the salvation from failures is satisfied therefore we can press on each day trying to act honorable and charitable resting in the knowledge of that salvation.  Makes failures much easier to accept blame and move on. Repentance is so much more doable when our future is set. The changing of ones mind can start to instill a humbleness in attitude when we realize everyone we meet has the same opportunity as you and me. If they don't know Jesus as savior they sure ain't gonna act in that manner.  That clues us into a lost person and our actions and responses can make or break their decision towards our savior. We must walk the walk if we talk the talk and everything we say and do is indeed under scrutiny to a lost world. Lets make that view be of our Lord and Savior.

Pro 8:34  Blessed is the man that heareth me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors.
Pro 8:35  For whoso findeth me findeth life, And shall obtain favor of Jehovah.

Psa 84:10  For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
Psa 84:11  For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your wisdom and truth in your Word. Help us see the needs and the wisdom to act.  Lord we lift those up to you who are lost and those struggling with life. Show your face .  Teach us to reach out with humble wisdom and eyes that see. Bless our hands and feet with courage to stand for all your principles. In Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? Seeking Gods face and seeking wisdom are the same thing.  If we seek wisdom we find Gods face. If we seek Gods face we find wisdom. It is very important where we do this. This is done in prayer and in the Word. Some don't like to be told what or how to live and some refuse correction thus they don't find Gods face or become wiser. No one knows all. No denomination has everything perfect.  No pastor is right all the time because of flesh therefore, that pedestal we have put a church, a pastor, or anything or one else on must be taken down. This has nothing to do with respect but with wisdom.  We know men have flaws and mankind sins so it stands to reason anything they are involved in can have flaws. Compassion with people gets a whole lot easier when we realize this truth. I've seen and heard of churches split over carpet color or things that trivial and foolish.  I've seen and heard of friends splitting over similar things. How can that be wise when held up against the Word? Looks an awful lot like selfishness to me.

Pro 8:32-36
Now therefore, my sons, hearken unto me; For blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, And refuse it not.  Blessed is the man that heareth me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors.  For whoso findeth me findeth life, And shall obtain favor of Jehovah.  But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: All they that hate me love death

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your wisdom that teaches us compassion and truth.  Open our hearts to your spirit so we may learn and live honorable and in your likeness. Help us live holy lives that help others and are a blessing wherever and whenever it is needed.  Thank you for your love, in Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing this fine day? The battles we face daily have root in many things . Some of our doing and some of the enemy, the spirits and principalities of the air. Our wisdom from God is the only way we can win those battles. Mans wisdom can not. The proof is all around us. Take the time to observe and watch from without to see what is at work within.  You know, we have to be brutally honest with ourselves because any other way will begat more of the same junk. Repentance and forgiveness is a constant thing we must exercise and we must use compassion with that wisdom because, well, we would want it used in that manner on us wouldn't we?

2Ti 2:20-26
Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some unto honor, and some unto dishonor.  If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, meet for the master's use, prepared unto every good work.  But flee youthful lusts, and follow after righteousness, faith, love, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.   But foolish and ignorant questionings refuse, knowing that they gender strifes. And the Lord's servant must not strive, but be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing, in meekness correcting them that oppose themselves; if peradventure God may give them repentance unto the knowledge of the truth,  and they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him unto his will.

Good morning!  How are we faithing? I deal with many people who are struggling. So many times I can see the root but my telling them wont do a lick of good. They need to go through whatever is happening in order to learn. My job is to point and sometimes lead towards the right direction. It is so much better for us to find the answers in the Word.  Look, I know when we are in the middle of the valley and we feel lost it's hard to see beyond everything around us but we must remember who our guide is. Even when we may think "it wont work" we have to trust and obey God. He's on top of every situation. We may not be climbing out of the valley because we are not looking to God but at our own misery and what is truth, eludes us. For me I have found if I search myself I find the hindrance to seeing truth. My own sin. My blaming others when even though they may be wrong, I dealt inappropriately and the wrong rests on my head as well. No one wants to admit fault but realistically, when is it ever totally one sides fault?  If we are not willing to face the truth, what ever or who ever it rests on, we will continue in the valley wandering and repeating the same ol stuff.  Just think on this.

Psa 139:23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart: Try me, and know my thoughts;  And see if there be any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

Joh 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Joh 10:9
I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and shall find pasture.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for teaching us how to live and be. Garner all truth and love and show us. Be ever present in our lives and show us how to see your face no matter what comes. Lord we lift those mentioned and the unspoken requests. Heal. Encourage. Hold and love us  when we are floundering. Thank you for all you do, In Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? Curious about a lot of things that are happening in the world. Watching, waiting, reading scripture searching.  When prophecy is recognized as taking place now or seeing the beginnings of those prophecies we could get scared and run off to the wilderness. The interesting thing is there will be no safe place to run to. With all the talk of drones and watching the drug helicopters flying over it becomes quite evident that hiding out away from population would be futile. Point is that running wont work if we are alive when many of the prophecies happen. Not trying to scare you but the mere fact of technology these days makes a Jeremiah Johnson stand futile.  Our Messiah is the only logical way.  Are you saved? Do you know what it means to be saved? Do you know the Messiah, Jesus the Christ? Time is short so make the choice. Run scared and prep for a stand that simply delays catastrophic outcomes  or  meet the savior who loves you and can give peace inside.

2Th 2:1-4
Now we beseech you, brethren, touching the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him;  to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is just at hand; let no man beguile you in any wise: for it will not be, except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,  he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, setting himself forth as God.

Dan 9:27
And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease; and upon the wing of abominations shall come one that maketh desolate; and even unto the full end, and that determined, shall wrath be poured out upon the desolate.

Do your own search.  Study.  If you have a study Bible, use it.

Lord we ask for wisdom to help the lost . Lead us to where it is we need to be and protect our minds and bodies from attacks. In Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? Holiness. We are called to holiness. We do have freedom in grace but not to do whatever we want thinking "well I'm forgiven, what does it matter what I do?" We are called to a better way than the worlds. We are called to follow our savior. We are called to holiness. I heard some are teaching it's ok to do anything and one example was to sleep with your girlfriend because we are forgiven. Really? They got that from the grace message? Ear tickler. People, we have got to be on guard for false teachings and doctrine no matter the source because guess what, it can kill you.  The Word even speaks of false doctrine permeating the church in the last days.  I'll not speak on religious dogma but only what the Word teaches because the clothes you wear, the circles you run with and the accolades from men are but chaff that flies away with any kind of sifting.

2Ti 4:3-4
For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside unto fables.

2Co 7:1
Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Luk 1:74-75
To grant unto us that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies Should serve him without fear,  In holiness and righteousness before him all our days.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your love and instruction that is so evident  through your Holy Spirit. Convict us Lord to follow you and not our own lusts.  Help us see real truth and not fall for false teachers who lead to destruction. Lord we ask blessings on your servants. Make them whole and wise, in Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? I had a friend tell me of being told he was going to hell if he didn't attend church? Really? Not only is that wrong in spirit but it is wrong doctrine. We are told not to forsake the coming together which translated means to "renounce or to abandon" the practice. You know what? I can understand why someone can get to the point of renouncing church because of silly wrong doctrinal teachings.  Faith and confession of "Jesus is the Christ" is what decides heaven or hell and the choice is ours. We do a huge disservice to God when we pile more stuff on top of that single premise. Read Romans chapter 2 for this topic.
We need to stop looking down our collective noses at procedure and what our eyes see and see the heart. We need to witness every time we have opportunity sprinkled with wisdom and humble attitudes so more meet Messiah.  It is time we believers act like we believe and reach out to the lost with the love Jesus has shown us and be wise enough with the Word knowledge base to not be pulled away from the truth we have learned. Trust but verify in the Word everything you are told.

Col 2:8-12
Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:  for in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily, and in him ye are made full, who is the head of all principality and power:  in whom ye were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;  having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

Heavenly Father,
Grant us wisdom to know truth from man made fallacy. Show us your truth and let us not be fooled by our physical senses. Lord we ask for courage under fire to stand strong.  Teach us your ways and Holy Spirit, fall on us so we emit the holiness of God. Thank you for your love for us Lord that we may pass on this wonderful gift. In Jesus name, amen

Good morning! How are we faithing? I'm looking through my note book that I write prayer requests, study notes and scripture for this daily and I am so thankful for so much.  I see names of friends and people I don't have a clue who they are but the constant is prayer for them. We in this readership have lifted up so many to the Lord and some I am privy to answered prayer and some I am not. I'm only half way through this notebook and because of the outcome of the few I know, my confidence that the others had answered prayer also. It is amazing when we pause and reflect. An exercise my mind does is to watch others and pray then imagine the outcome. I suppose it is a way for me to remember others. Often times we pray and never know what becomes of that person we prayed for but rest assured fellow believers, they all are answered. I saw circumstances that people went through and even though I may have known what they needed, they needed to discover on their own. The daily just made them look where they may not have thought to look before. This life in Christ is so amazing because it is the ultimate and it is ever moving forward unlike the world that just continues to repeat the same ol stuff. Sure we are just learning what our forefathers probably knew but each one of us have that relationship if we are in Christ thus we must march as they did.  As you have your time in prayer today, thank the Lord for what you know and know about and for the victories you can't see.

Col 3:1-4
If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.  Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are upon the earth.  For ye died, and your life is hid with Christ in God.  When Christ, who is our life, shall be manifested, then shall ye also with him be manifested in glory.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you.  Bless you.  We praise your holy name. In Jesus name, amen

Good morning!  How are we faithing?  I see many things going on around and with the wisdom of the Lord in the Bible I become aware of mine and the worlds shortcomings. Man o man we need a savior! And we have one in Jesus. If we were to think that a "higher power" to recognize was sufficient and being good enough for that power to merit inclusion in heaven was a good way, what assurance would we have? How good enough must we be? That way of viewing the higher power would be one of a vile entity just waiting for us to goof up therefore this life ends up a waste because the good would never be enough. How could you achieve true happiness? You couldn't!  It would be a veiled lie at best and out  and out deceit actually. How is it that mankind keeps renewing the same old lies? How do we not remember from generation to generation the mistakes and the foolishness that came before?  Why do we continue the same fleshly actions and think we are better equipped to make them happen than the previous couple thousand generations? Pride, arrogance, lusts and selfishness. Get down to facts. Get your head right with God and accept his son's sacrifice for you. Stop pursuing the same junk over and over.  Admit you are not capable of saving yourself. On your knees, standing in the shower, driving your car...present yourself to Jesus. Admit you are fallen and you need him. Speak confidently, humbly and honestly to the savior because your life does depend on it.

1Th 3:12-13
and the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we also do toward you;  to the end he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

Joh 3:16-17
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your gift of pardon. Thank you for a savior that came for us all. Lord we lift those up searching for the savior and any who have asked for Jesus to come live in their heart, envelop them in your love.  Lord we lift those up mentioned and ask blessings be poured out and that they know you sent them because we want all to know you! In Jesus name, amen

  Good morning! How are we faithing? Know anyone who struggles with life? Of course you do. What do you do about it? Do you complain and pout or do you solve the issue by changing behavior? Do you seek help from sources that are trustworthy or ones that side with you? Man, I run into so many that are in trouble and yet keep taking the same path over and over.  Myself included.  Our own flesh gets in the way of sound reasoning. I urge you to pause and ponder your situation. Make a choice who you're gonna serve.  Dylan said it,"you gonna have to serve somebody, it may be the devil, it may be the Lord but you gonna have to serve". Who you gonna serve? Yourself or God? Your own lusts or a better way in Jesus? You decide because;

1Pe 2:21-25
For hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye should follow his steps:  who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:  who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:  who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.  For ye were going astray like sheep; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Heavenly Father,
Forgive us please when we fall. Forgive us when our flesh gets the better of us. Lord we desire to walk righteously with honor and wisdom.  Bless those mentioned and those we all are concerned for. In Jesus name, amen
