I have been a fire man for about 20 yrs now and been around the fire sevice since I was a childand have seen numorous things and have enjoyed my time in the fire service and will be doing it for as long as I can.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Im a third generation fireman I followed in my father's footsteps he is one of our founding members.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Knowing that I have been able to keep my community safer.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Training,safety and inter sevice combination training so that both fire and ems are aware of what each side needs to do to help each other.

Feburary of 2009 I had to go to the Hospital and the Doctors run several tests and kept me over night and around 7am the next morning the Doctor came in and told my wife that my tests came back and my Heart is very weak and it has enlarged they call it Cardiomyopithy or C.H.F and to be able to survive cardiac resusitation the heart strength has to be at least 35% and mine was at 15% and my duties at the FD were light duty and I was given the safety officer job and driver after a year my heart… Continue
