Worked as a Lic. Mechanic for 25 yrs before joining an ARFF Dept. So I have developed a love hate relationship with all things mechanical, bikes , cars snowblowers lawn mowers, etc.
I've got a 1986 Ford Bronco fullsize sitting in my driveway that I had plans to build as an OHV. I grew up on the east coast in mostly mud bogs but I currently live 3 hours North of Moab, UT and was wondering if I should build it into a crawler (something I know little about) Some crawler friends however have told me to scrap the pile of junk & buy a jeep or toyota (neither of which I'm all too fond of) just looking for some insight before I start a tear down
I kind of feel left out here. I only own 4 jeeps and a '87 chevy van. The jeep's are '74 CJ-5, '76 DJ-5d (not technically a jeep) , '79 CJ-5 and a 2002 Jeep Liberty.

Im looking for an older chevy truck to restore. My father had a 1950 five window cab. Now I want one similar to that one.
