- I am currently a volunteer for YWCA Secret Seconds in Missoula, MT. In fact in April of 2011, I received an award from the mayor for Outstanding Neighborhood Volunteer of the Year. - Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- I wanted to make a difference, so I volunteered... I was a volunteer firefighter in Superior, Montana in the U.S. as well as a volunteer for Mineral County Search & Rescue. For me, it is a passion, and I like knowing that I can make a difference in this world. I think that ALL volunteers are heroes, they change the world one person at a time!

Caller: I heard what sounded like gunshots coming from the brown house on the corner.
Dispatcher: Do you have an address?
Caller: No, I have on a blouse and slacks, why?
Dispatcher: 911
