Jessica I hear ya on that one. I feel guilty everytime the tones go off or we have a training evalution because that is time that I could be spending with my daughter. I dont know how to totally kick the feeling but it helps when I hear my daughter talk about me being in the fire service and how proud she sounds.

Does anyone ever get that really guilty and depressed feeling from being gone @ work so much its like your babysitter is wanted more by your child then you are? How do get beyond that feeling?
