Don't Sue McDonalds because YOU left naked photos lying around!

Taken from KCMQ.com.

If you don’t want anyone to see nude photos of your wife, then don’t leave your phone at a restaurant. Lesson learned by Phillip Sherman of Arkansas….he left his phone at a McDonald’s and the next thing he knew photos of his naked wife that were stored on the phone appeared online. Now Phillip and his wife are suing McDonald’s for $3 million in damages for suffering, embarrassment and having to move to a new home. I understand the embarrassment part, but don’t try to sue over your own carelessness.

A sad commentary on the state of our society. This is the epitomizes stupidity and lack of common sense. First take the photo's and leave them on an unsecure phone, second forget your phone and leave it in an open to the public common area. And worst of all, bring a law suit against an already battered corporation that has a history of being the recepients of suits from stupid people. Last, you bring your stupidity into the national exposure (in more ways than one) of the media. The addition to the chain of insanity would be that the corporate attorneys will add to the declining IQ level by settling out of court. There is no fixing stupid, just us of the public paying for it. Who is really stupid??

Another example of that timeless rule: You can't fix stupid.

He who is too ignorant to remember his phone, probably shouldn't have one to start with!

Why isn't that considered theft, they stole the pictures out of the phone and then with out consent put them on the net. Its not like it was a naked picture on a 5 x 7 lying on the table, it was stored on his phone! I don't know if suing McDonalds is right, maybe suing the people who probably already don’t have anything. But I guess that’s a lesson learned for employers if you are in doubt don't hire the idiot.
