sorry for the hiatus folks.Had alot going on. As most of you know I lost my job at Gadsden Etowah EMS for reporting safety violations and got hired at AMED. Well seems that even though I told the person who hired me exactly what happened at Gadsden after he left I was railroaded out from AMED. I have been unable to get a job in EMS since August 2009. I work for a private service and they are wanting us to do our billing tickets so as even if a person walks to our stretcher they are bedbound for medicare and medicaid purposes.I was forced by our office manager as she grabbed my arm and made me change a billing ticket on a patient who walked to our stretcher but is blind to bedbound on a billing ticket.
