Pastor's Business Card



A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door.



Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote 'Revelation 3:20' on the back of it and stuck it in the door.

KS FIREFIGHTERS BURNED AT WILDLAND FIRE

Two firefighters from McPherson are in fair condition at a Wichita hospital today after they were injured while battling a grass fire north of Hutchinson.

The men, ages 21 and 43, suffered minor burns and could be released Sunday, a hospital supervisor said.



Emergency dispatchers said the fire was reported at 12:22 p.m. in southwest McPherson County near the Rice County line.

KC FIREFIGHTERS CAUGHT IN COLLAPSE

Four Kansas City firefighters were injured this morning when a porch collapsed while they were battling an intentionally set fire in south-central Kansas City. None of the firefighters suffered serious injuries, but all required hospital treatment.

JERSEY CITY FIRE APPARATUS CRASH WHILE RESPONDING

Saturday, March 1, 2008- Jersey City, NJ - 4 Jersey City firefighters, 1 adult and 1 child were taken to area hospitals after Engine 13 and a civilian vehicle collided at the intersection of Danforth Ave and Ocean Ave. Engine 13 was responding to a report of a structure fire. All injuries were reported to be non-life threatening. The accident caused a light pole and to fall onto the roof of Engine 13. The accident is currently under investigation.

PA. FIREFIGHTER BURNED FOLLOWING SEARCH

This morning the Grove City VFD (PA) was dispatched to a dwelling fire with reported persons trapped at a side by side duplex. Additional alarms were called for from the Pine Twp FD and a RIT from East End VFD. The 1st in crews initiated fire attack and started a search on the less involved side. CO. LODD UPDATE-THE # 1 REASON TO WEAR SEATBELTS

GREELEY — Volunteer Fire Captain Shane Stewart was remembered in Greeley today as a fellow with an impish grin, a mischievous streak and the kind-hearted father of two who went out of his way to help others.

CHIEFS CAR STRUCK TWICCOE (2ND TIME BY TROOPER) ON INTERSTATE

An out-of-control semi truck slammed into the back of Lake Dillon Fire-Rescue command vehicle on Interstate 70 Monday.



Officials said Battalion Chief Kelly Wagner parked his vehicle with all emergency lights on per protocol. He was positioned on the far right side of the west-bound lane of I-70 near the west Frisco exit while responding to an accident.
