Plagiarism Some Thoughts...

Posted on December 4, 2009 at 10:56pm 6 Comments

Ok thought about this for awhile before posting this and also asked some opinions so I could say the right thing, or at least do this intelligently.

Ok I get what all the anti-plagiarism commenters are saying and I do understand it fully, believe me. If I had works out there that people were posting everywhere then I would want them to mention I had something to do with that too. I get it people. But when you get… Continue

My Soldier What Can I Say...

Posted on February 24, 2008 at 7:19am 0 Comments

My soldier, oh what can I say. I finally get to see him and it’s the most wonderful thing ever, words can’t even begin to describe how I feel. On the other hand, he is beyond ecstatic; he is in more of a blissful stage right now. Ask any soldier how they feel when they finally see their love after being apart for so long, nothing can describe it.

I love cooking him meals (anything’s better than MRE’s right guys?), cleaning his barracks room and yes, even his ever piling laundry because the… Continue

What NOT To Ask A Military Girlfriend/Fiance/Wife

Posted on February 11, 2008 at 11:21am 2 Comments

People with stupid questions about the military. listen up!

What not to say or ask a military wife/girlfriend/ fiance while they have a loved one that is deployed or has been deployed.

1. "Aren't you afraid that he'll be killed?"

Of course we are terrified. The thought always lingers at the backs of our minds-- but thanks, you just brought it back to the front. Maybe next you can go ask someone with cancer if they're scared of dying..

2. "I don't know how you… Continue

1. Live your life like its your last day... it could be.

2. Treat others like you want to be treated DESPITE how they actually treat you.

3. He who dies with the most toys still dies.

Hey Rebecca: Great to meet you. I look forward to seeing you around the pages. Yes, I tend to speak the truth... and it gets me in trouble alot. Come on in and join the fun... as you can see I love to give these men a run for their money. They can get so hot-headed and arrogant, I feel the need to rein them in a little and create some comic relief. Stay safe. Heather

Hi rebecca
Since the replies are closed on your post regarding the 12 days of christmas, I just wanted to say thanks here, for posting it. It was really fun to read and very humorous. To me, it don't matter how you brighten someone's day, so, who cares who wrote it. Unless it's stating facts and such. Thanks again.
