Kyle, we had the same call yesterday here in town but it was raining like crazy! Two guys had smash the windshield out to pull the victims

Morning everyone coffee is on a little stronger than usual since we have one person wanting to run for two depts and one going through emt class they will need it lol stay safe and have a good day

Good to hear that your mom is doing better.

Hoping I can get back to school again and finish, but I think I better wait until after this EMT course as it should keep enough on my plate for now.

I suppose I better head to bed so I have at least half of a chance of getting up in the morning...LOL!!

Great to see you in here again, Heather!! Maybe things will liven back up a bit...hehe.

wow 90 miles each way - that would suck

yeah can't knock a pay check - so many don't have that these days...

glad the family is doing good !!! My mom is finally doing better and settled back in home after her knee replacement..

now if I could just get my act together and finish school }:-br />
my family craziness if finally settling down..

Sounds like it should work out pretty well. They have been doing it for quite awhile I guess, and, as a matter of fact, a paramedic videoconferenced class was taking place across the hall from our room on Thursday.

It is nice not having to run 90 miles each direction 2-3 times a week...lol.

The traditional job is still unpleasant, but provides some income nonetheless, the family is great, and the kids start school this week.

video conference seems strange - how do you think that is gonna work out?

only way to do it when you live in the sticks?

my sister also does ems - and one day she and I were at a fire/ems conference with several thousand other people... in a main lecture (Robert Shapiro, maker of tv show Rescue 911) i was sitting with several hundred people between my sister and myself...

the speaker on the platform asked some random question (for thinking, not answering) - then hesitated tooooo long - so I yelled out an answer...

he stopped his lecture and spoke directly too me for 2-3 minutes... then resumed his lecture...

20 minutes later... he asked another question (for thinking, not answering)... and then stupidly - he again hesitated too long... and someone far in the back of the room yelled an answer...

so he stopped and said the person in the back of the room - "you must be related to her" and he points at me... to which the person in the back stood up and yelled back "yup, she's my sister"

3000 people were rolling in laughter

and the speaker gave each my sister and I really expensive gifts !!! LOLOLOLOLOL
