ahh, its all good. everyone gets to do it, doesn't matter if it was only a garage. they'll be more. and thats a good thing that you don't have many fires. LOL, bet when ya got told to mask up, ya stopped for a second, thinking " really? me ?"

It was pretty awesome, even though it was only a garage fire. However, it was quite an adrenaline rush!! Pulled the LDH off of the 2nd responding engine to hook the hydrant then was told to mask up.

Definitely the "popping of the cherry," LOL...of course, it probably seemed about that way for the rest of the dept. since this was the first working structure fire in about one year.
