ahhh, it will get better, you'll miss a few fires, and walk into the station, and inhale deeply, or better yet, walk up and smell someone elses gear

I know I need to get something better to use, however, like the well-trained slave hubby that I am, I did ask her before I brought the gear in and did it and got her approval.

Wish I could afford one of the dryers that I have seen advertised that hold all of the gear and move air over everything. Maybe sometime down the road.

I love how after a fire - when taking the shower - the whole shower - and house will smell like smoke...

Hanging from the shower rod - I bet your wife likes that. Get one of those wooden air dry folding - free-standing clothing racks to dry your gear on. So your wife will not be pissed...

Nope, shower is already done and my turnouts are now hanging from the curtain rod.
