we didnt think Dad would be cool with it, but since his buddy mentioned it, he thought about it, and getting him out of his current home will do wonders for him, Mom died in the home, living room, in fact, and its taken us 8 months to convince him its not good to stay there. this should really be an experience. and I can keep an eye on him. LOL. although, Im gearing up for the havoc that these 2 are going to reek on everyone. oh boy. LMAO

Good to hear, Izzy...we thought about trying to do that with my mom after my dad passed about five and a half years ago, but she didn't think it was a really good idea at the time.

Dads in good health still, but is alone too much since we lost my Mom, so we convinced him that we all need a house big enough for all of us. should be great fun, considering my Dad and hubby are 2 peas in a pod, and both torment the heck out of me and the girls...... I guess Dad will be getting even with me for all the crap I did when I was younger. LMAO. the boys are best buddies, which is great, cause my Dad hated my first husband ( I figured out why, but too late. LOL)

LMAO, yup, I think you're right, Tom and my Dad are both into cars ,etc. so they like to do their own thing, LOL and at least it gives them a break from us, I can just imagine whats it going to be like if this buying of a house goes through, cause we'll all be living together, LOL I dont think we'll see very much of either my hubby or my Dad
