So very true Izzy!! Luckily, it hasn't gotten too terribly bad here yet, but once the thaw gets going, I am sure water rescues will pick up. As for extrications, they have been a lot slower than I would have expected for the drivers and the conditions around here.

yeah, only for a little bit. the vehicles into poles, wires down, extrications and cars into filled ditches is done, but we're waiting for a good layer of ice and nasty stuff, which is only less than an hour away. I really wish people that dont know how to drive in this mess would just stay home
