I am sure...that is something that one could never forget...our Volunteer Chief refers to his first loss of a child quite often.

Very true...think probably could've went with a little less water, but other than that, it seemed to go well...including finding a cat in that room after we had blackened the fire down and took it out to the owner...we found it after it started meowing at us.

LOL...I can certainly understand the comment about the chief thing.

Definitely some of the best experience you can get too...hands-on right behind a seasoned FF!

Pretty good here. Had work this morning, training on practicals for Cert. FF class this afternoon, followed by a tone for a contents fire about a half hour after our training. I ended up being 2nd man on the hose.
