you'll come across some awful people, I can tell you that much.

they will go after anyone, hell, we've had a few that would go after any kind of uniform.

and sometimes it has to do with "demographics", but you'd be surprised.

Got another fire today...I was on the hose right behind the nozzleman...contents fire in a bedroom

after we darkened down the fire, we found a cat in the room and I was able to get it picked up and taken outside to it's owner.

Thank you for the heads-up...I've heard of these types of things happening ever since I lived in Cali. and more so since joining this site and reading about some of the many incidents across the country and it is a very sobering thought not to be taken lightly at all.

in VT - and here in CA - nobody does background checks

my husband (ex) was buying and selling guns illegally for a while - CRAZY EASY !!

... high contribution to him becoming an EX !!!

Ernie, actually, she's right. never assume that anyone coming at you is cool. too many weirdos out there these days.

lots of FF's, even EMT's and medics get too complacent when they go to calls, and over time, forget to be aware and leary of anything that might go wrong. it can be difficult sometimes to keep that thought going,

but its not something to forget.

and I thought maybe the lil woman was distracting you, hee hee hee, thats why the fingers weren't working right. LOL
