Will have to keep my eye open for that...along with EMT-B...also wouldn't mind learning how to dive and train to do water rescues too.

Ernie, our CS training is great, even the re-certs are fun. full gear, pack and all, get into a 26 or 27 inch diameter tube, get yourself through it, make a 90 degree turn, which can be difficult, cause you have to take your pack off, and feed it through sometimes, or , turn a certain way, so that you can make the turn, get into a tank, make a harness out of the webbing, get the pt out of there, ( we use dummies for this part) then get the dummy out. its a blast, and a real workout..... usually, in the corrugated tubing, only way to get through it is to pull with your fingertips and push with your toes.

not claustrophobic that I am aware of...and I have gotten much better at controlling my breathing with the SCBA on. first time or two I was damn near hyperventilating.
