If it is any consolaton Chief - I HATE SHOPPING - so it is NOT distinctly a biologically female trait...

it is a cultivated trait...

If I could do my last 20 years over - I would work less - even volunteer less and spend more time with MY people !

and as I bury my friends - too young - one after another - I know they all wish they had done the same...

I suppose so, wow. I am currently trying to upgrade jobs, not sure I want to try adding a second one right now...lol.
