I am currently a mechanic for an OTR refrigerated trucking company and hoping my application gets my foot in the door with Dispatch here in town which is the 911 Call Center for about 6 counties, if I remember correctly. It would be a nice little jump in pay as well as allowing me to actually help people instead of lining someone's pockets.

yes it seems in this economy the ladder steps of our careers must over lap - too risky to just leave one step without the other one firmly in place - causing lots of people to work multiple jobs at once.

I have been doing it for 20 years... and at least 50% of my friends and family too...

Miss the theory (societal practice) of one job - 9 to 5 off evenings and weekends...

yeah - been sick almost 2 weeks now - way behind on the workload

since i am still fighting off the tail end (and felt like shit just yesterday) I am going to skip kick boxing tonight

in general this year I have been working much less to practice better self care and try to finish my doctorate - fingers crossed by Dec 2011 I will be Dr. Brown !
