Sarah, I agree completely. My Father was a volunteer with Lake George Fire and Pompano Beach Fire before I was born or too small to remember. He told me about it after I joined Couchton Fire and Rescue 5 years ago. He works hard, does the right thing, and doesn't care if anyone is watching.
