There is some pics up of the end result of the fire on my page! Nothing real exciting... it was my little sisters first fire thu! We baptised her in the world of soot, ash, mud, smoke, water, fire and whatever else they have in their houses today thu! Garage fire started when the garage door opener malfunctioned and caught on fire some how... we pulled out 4 harleys, a honda and a yamaha that were completely ruined...u wanna see a big grown man cry, u be the one to tell them we cant save his toys cuz theres melted garage door all over them!

ok - i really can not give you shit - i have gotten burned plenty...

and lit my own house on fire

and had my own house lit on fire by others a few times

so FFs are less-invincible than the average person - because we get intentionally in harms way and we are way more cavalier in our attitude with heat and fire and gas, etc. than the average SMARTER person

Ernie - you better not tell the rest of the BRC (Back Room Crew) that I lit my own house on fire...

im with a combination department, half volunteer half paid, all great people. im a volunteer but a part of their resident program. that and school is all i have right now

Exactly Ryan. What type of dept do you run with? Is it your primary job?

If you read back a few pages and beyond, you will see I have been having problems with my two housemates and their total disregard for fire safety in my home... they are driving me crazy (and that is a short trip)

Ryan- I hear you there, pretty much the same situation here.

Janelle- LOL, yeah, I got a pretty good crash course in radiant heat a few weeks ago on a grass fire, however, I did not fully realize it until I got home and the wife started calling me Rudolph...LOL.
